Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/related field; ACCA qualification.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting and statutory compliance experience.
• IFRS expertise; tax computation and filing a plus.
• Proficient with ERP systems (Dynamics NAV/Business Central, Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Office.
• Strong client, project management, cross-border experience.
• Fluent in English.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manager to oversee global compliance and accounting reporting services for a diverse range of international clients. In this role, you will lead end-to-end accounting operations, drive tax compliance, manage client relationships, and oversee project delivery while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Reporting: Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and prepare multi-currency financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Ensure smooth month-end/year-end closures.
• Audit & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison for statutory audits, resolve open audit issues, and maintain strong ongoing relationships with client management.
• Systems & Implementation: Lead system migration/implementation projects (e.g., ERP setups, timesheet/billing tools, parallel testing) and drive accounting system optimizations.
• Internal Operations & Finance: Manage project budgeting, staff utilization, cash flow forecasting, and weekly/monthly revenue variance reporting for the service line.
• Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and evaluate junior staff, delegating daily deliverables to build team capability.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Business, or a related field (ACCA qualification).
• Experience: 6+ years of progressive accounting and statutory compliance experience, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial or senior lead capacity within a professional services or Big 4 environment.
• Technical Standards: Deep technical expertise in IFRS. Hands-on experience in tax computation and filing is a plus.
• Software & Systems: Proficiency in modern accounting/ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, Xero, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Office.
• Client & Project Management: Strong track record managing cross-border client accounts, engagement scope, proposal preparations, and system transitions.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills; fluent in English.
