Overview

This is a newly created leadership role overseeing finance and HR functions while engaging stakeholders across the management team, with a clear succession pathway to Head of Finance.

Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will:

  • Oversee full spectrum of finance & HR functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing, delivering accurate financial statements and reports
  • Partner with internal and external auditors, addressing findings and strengthening compliance
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning and business decision-making
  • Monitor cash flow and project financial performance, ensuring milestone cost and revenue recognition
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering capability development and continuous improvement
  • Drive process and system enhancements to improve efficiency, controls, and financial accuracy
  • Present financial insights clearly to senior leadership, supporting business growth and strategy
Profile
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance, with CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 10 years' finance experience, preferably in industrial or construction-related sectors
  • Strong expertise in project controlling, milestone-based cost tracking, and revenue recognition
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing finance teams.
  • Confident in preparing and delivering financial presentations to senior leadership
