Job summary

A leading company in the design sector is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee shared services including general ledger and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with managerial experience and will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across various accounting functions. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, alongside proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven team management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting shared services including GL/Reporting, AR/AP management.
• Control monthly/quarterly/yearly closing schedules.
• Ensure timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial results.

Job description

. In charge of accounting shared service which including GL/Reporting function, AR management, AP management, Fixed Assets management, statutory and managerial accounting ledgers reconciliation

. Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly closing schedule control

. Assist in monthly closing, quarterly closing and year end closing deliverables, ensuring timely preparation and accurate submission of actual financial resulting/reporting /templates

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor degree in accounting or related major with solid background on accounting

2. Around 10 years accounting experience and at least 4 years' manager experience in cross regional Finance Share Service Centre

3. Fluent English both verbal and writing

4. Strong communication skill

5. Team management experience; good leadership skill

6. Proficient in MS-Office software especially EXCEL, and knowledge of accounting software SAP

7. Self-motivation, proactive, and innovative

8. Can be working under pressure

9. Result and quality orientated
