About the Role

The Finance team at Revolut supports all areas of the business, assesses the financial implications of key strategic decisions, and drives growth opportunities. We are seeking a Financial Controller who is a chartered/qualified accountant to join an exciting new product launch team and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities

• Work closely on product launches in India, monthly closes, post-statement hygiene, and day-to-day finance operations
• Lead accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting
• Collaborate with external auditors on the annual audit process
• Prepare and monitor GL entries in Oracle NetSuite, adhering to IFRS standards
• Create detailed financial reporting and analysis, including variance analysis and trend reporting
• Optimize balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation processes using automation systems
• Drive process improvements to enhance financial control function efficiency and reporting robustness
• Manage vendors and collaborate with the Legal team on reporting requirements

Requirements

• A relevant accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, or equivalent)
• 2+ years of industry experience in finance and controlling functions in a fast-growing organization
• Solid knowledge of technical IFRS and accounting standards in India
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Nice to have: Understanding of basic direct and indirect tax principles and month-end compliance
