A foodstuff company in Singapore is looking for an Accounting Assistant to manage daily accounting operations and prepare reports. Ideal candidates should have a degree in accounting and be proficient in Excel and Word. The company welcomes applicants with no experience as training will be provided.
Scope of Work:
Handle the daily operations of the accounting and finance functions within the company (AP, AR, GL, Bank reconciliation etc)
Prepare monthly reports for closing of accounts
Prepare for audits / corporate tax / GST filing and other compliance matters
Participate in regular cash audits and inventory stocktakes at our retail outlets
Perform financial-related administrative matters (proper document records keeping etc)
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Accounting or its equivalent
1 - 2 years of relevant working experience (Candidates with no relevant working experience are also welcome to apply as on-the-job training will be provided)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Organised, meticulous and able to work within deadlines
