Account Executive
Job Description:
- Prepare and execute account receivable, account payable, bank reconciliation, and full sets of accounts.
- Arrange payment schedules, update, and follow up on payment schedules. Submit daily and weekly reports to management and work closely with management to avoid operational interruptions.
- Responsible for auditing financial transactions and controlling accounting documents.
- Prepare and report daily sales to the Director and Management.
- Prepare and report the annual Fixed Asset Depreciation Report to Directors & Management.
- Liaise with government authorities on accounting and financial matters such as audit, GST, etc.
- Coordinate with external parties—banks, government agencies—for account and costing matters.
- Prepare daily credit card reconciliation reports, bank balance reports, and update daily bank transactions. Ensure funds are properly disbursed and credited.
- Manage petty cash and process reimbursement forms.
- Prepare bank deposits for counter cash collections.
- Prepare quarterly GST submissions.
- Prepare yearly commission statements.
- Conduct monthly inventory stock takes, and handle asset and inventory disposal/write-offs.
- Assist with e-commerce payments.
- File and organize documents.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director & Management.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate should possess at least a Diploma qualification in a relevant field or LCCI Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
