About the role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Accounting cum Admin Executive to join our growing team at AWOT GLOBAL LOGISTICS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in the Changi East Region. This full-time position is a crucial role that will support our finance and administrative operations, contributing to the overall success of our logistics business.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing general accounting tasks such as accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and month-end closing

  • Send Monthly SOA to customers every 1st week of the month

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation

  • Liaise with internal department to resolve issues and disputes

  • Send weekly update AR report to HQ (Friday) and respective salesman for review

  • Distribution & allocation of customers funds to various internal station

  • Update of weekly foreign exchange rate into in house system

  • Providing administrative support, including handling correspondence, filing, data entry and other general office duties

  • Arrange daily bank transfer upon receive of payment requisition / Issue cheque upon request

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry

  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite

  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Familiarity with logistics and transportation industry regulations and procedures
