Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd in Singapore is seeking a Consultant to support Accounting Compliance & Reporting engagements across client teams. You will coordinate with EY professionals, manage workstreams, and assist with financial statement preparation and month-end close processes.

The role also provides exposure to SFRS and international standards, risk and quality control, and opportunities to advance within EY's global advisory network.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, tax, economics or related discipline required.
• CPA, CA or similar professional qualification preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, tax compliance, finance operations or managed services.
• Familiarity with SFRS and international accounting standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and project coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients, EY teams and internal stakeholders to deliver client engagements.
• Prepare and review working papers, reconciliations, reporting packs and status trackers.
• Identify technical or operational issues and support timely resolution or escalation.
• Contribute to process improvement, quality control and risk management across Accounting Compliance & Reporting and FMS engagements.
• Support client onboarding and transition activities for FMS engagements.
• Monitor service delivery timelines and ensure adherence to accounting policies and deadlines.
