Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is looking for an Accounting Manager to maintain comprehensive accounting records and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, strong knowledge of GL, A/P, and A/R, and preferably certifications in accounting. This role involves collaborating with tax authorities and ensuring compliance during audits, making it crucial for skilled individuals looking to advance their careers in finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an accounting manager.
• Experience in Big 4 audit environment is a plus.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is an added advantage.

Job description

Job Descriptions:

• Maintain full accounting records including AP, AR, GL, bank, and fixed assets.
• Record and review all journal entries, including accruals, amortization, and forex adjustments.
• Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, PMS, and TTC reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and timely.
• Verify all bank transactions and reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Oversee Accounts Payable: verify invoices, PO matching, and timely vendor payments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable: billing, collections follow-up, and aging report accuracy.
• Maintain fixed asset register; record acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and revaluations.
• Prepare and file corporate and withholding tax returns; liaise with tax authorities and consultants.
• Coordinate audits, prepare schedules, ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3 years or more experience as an accounting manager.
• Strong working knowledge of GL, A/P, A/R, taxation (corporate & WHT), and financial reporting.
• Experience in Big 4 audit environment
• Experience working in audit firm andProfessional certification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is an added advantage.
