Accounting & Enterprise Solutions Services - Associate

$3200 - $3500

The scope of work shall cover (but is not limited to the following):

Scope of work

• Assist/prepare full or partial set of accounts for the portfolio of clients within deadline
• Assist/prepare and submission of Goods and Services Tax (GST) filing
• Timely preparation of accounts and financial reports to comply with the clients’ policies and statutory requirements
• Maintain and administer on accounting matters for the portfolio of clients
• Assist in payroll functions in relation to the portfolio of clients
• Assist in other ad hoc scopes required by the Outsourcing Department

Requirements:

• Good understanding of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance and accounting principles
• Good understanding of Singapore Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) Act and other relevant regulations
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and organised individual with strong initiatives
• Positive work attitudes and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and in a team

Scope of work

• Prepare full or partial set of accounts for the portfolio of clients within deadline
• Prepare and submission of GST filling
• Timely preparation of accounts and financial reports to comply with the clients’ policies and statutory requirements
• Responsible for full spectrum of payroll functions in relation to the portfolio of clients
• Any other ad hoc scopes of the outsourcing services
• Engage in client in planning work scopes; communicates timelines, gathers information, and addresses routine queries.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance and accounting principles
• Good understanding of Singapore Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) Act and other relevant regulations
• Proficient in accounting software, XERO, MYOB
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and organised individual with strong initiatives
• Positive work attitudes and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Guides junior associates, ensure proper documentations of work and assists in firm’s training and development.
• Reports to Manager or Assistant Manager; acts as point-of-contact for assigned clients.
