• Location: Central

• Position: Accounting Assistant (1 year renewable contract)- CK (Job ID: 19708)

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. – with previous point,
• Provide support to other departments on basic accounting queries and related workflow processes.
• Assist internal and external auditors during audits. – with previous point,
• Prepare required financial data for government surveys, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely submission to meet statutory obligations.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and prepare reports assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

•Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance or a related field from an accredited institution
•Minimum 2 years of related experience.
•A fundamental understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and financial analysis is essential for supporting accurate and timely financial closing, reporting, and analysis.
•Knowledge in capitalization
•Familiarity with SAP or similar accounting systems is an added advantage
