• More than 5 years of experience in Accounting and Reporting within a Trading business.
• Must have industry exposure in Commodity Trading / Oil Trading.
• Prior Big 4 background is advantageous.

The Company

Our client is a leading Global Trading & Energy company with various product offerings and well-established operations. They are keen to hire a hands-on and meticulous team player to join the financial reporting & accounting team.

Industry Exposure: Commodity Trading industry experience is required. The successful candidate should be hardworking and flexible regarding working hours.

Budget: $9,000 - 10,000 per month + Bonus

Requirements:

• Degree qualified with a stable career history
• More than 5 years of experience in Accounting and Reporting within a Trading business
• MUST: Industry exposure from Commodity Trading / Oil Trading
• Traits: Resilient, hardworking, hands-on, able to work well with different stakeholders (including traders), meticulous, proactive, team player
• Exposure to GTP / Tax and trade finance is helpful
• Prior Big 4 background is advantageous

Working Arrangement: 100% in-office

Job Scope:

As an Accounting Analyst / Trade Accountant, you will manage monthly closing activities, prepare financial statements for quarter and year-end closing, ensure internal controls, complete government surveys and statutory requirements. You will support the preparation of monthly trade book P&L and balance sheet schedules, financial schedules for audits, inventory reconciliation, and intercompany transactions (sales, purchases, receivables, payables). You will also review and improve processes and systems, ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements.
