Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Manage and oversee financial reporting for the listed company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SGX listing rules and SFRS(I)s.

  • Consolidation: Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial reports, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.

  • Books and Records: Maintain and manage the books and records for the listed company and a certain of its subsidiaries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with SGX listing rules and other regulatory requirements.

  • Audit Coordination: Work closely with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.

  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.

  • Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve overall financial health.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and consolidation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and managing books and records, preferably in a listed company. Applicant with experience working as an auditor in a CPA firm can also be considered.

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with SGX listing rules, SFRS(I)s, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the Finance Team and various stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex financial issues.
