Accountant / Senior Accountant (Statutory and Tax Reporting)

Your Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing STAT reports, government reporting, and tax operations for our organization. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with governmental regulations, and efficient tax operations.

Our team focuses on international accounting & tax operation, and we are supporting over 50 entities across Asian countries.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports required for STAT (Statutory Accounting Principles) reporting, adhering to industry guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularities and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare, review, and submit government reports, including but not limited to regulatory filings, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents.
• Stay up to date with current tax regulations, laws, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and tax departments, to gather necessary data and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct periodic audits and reviews to identify potential risks and recommend improvements to mitigate those risks.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accountants, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with a focus on STAT reports, government reporting, and tax operations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• It is crucial to possess a strong focus on maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in your job duties.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing regulatory and industry requirements.
• We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin and English Language to better serve our Mandarin and English-speaking customers.
