Accountant/Senior Accountant (Costing)

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in updating global inventory standard costs in Oracle.
2. Oversee zero-cost updates and cost roll-ups (BOM).
3. Manage inventory E&O provisions and subcontractor inventory reconciliations.
4. Review and approve Discrepant Material Requisitions (DMR).
5. Accrue and review Return Material Authorization (RMA).
6. Handle rebates, including authorization and payments.
7. Manage distributor Ship & Debit claims and reconcile distributor inventory.
8. Validate POS data and ensure alignment with Ship & Debit claims.
9. Perform month-end cost close processes.
10. Address auditors queries related to assigned items.
11. Participate in the implementation of new systems and projects.
12. Assist with inventory and distributor audits.

Requirements

1. Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
2. 3 to 5 years of cost accounting experience, with external audit experience preferred.
3. Strong skills and knowledge in cost accounting.
4. Experience with period-end accounting close processes.
5. Experience in high-tech or semiconductor industries.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
7. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
