Accountant/Senior Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Complies and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, including general ledger accounts.

2. Full set of accounts.

3. Completes and maintains general ledgers, schedules and financial reports.

4. Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.

5. Inter company billing and settlements.

6. Entity and Group cash planning and control.

7. GST reporting.

8. Handles trade finance transactions such as Import Invoice Financing, Export Invoice Financing, Factoring, Letter of Credits, Loans.

9. Reviews contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.

10. Handles due diligence, surveys and form filling requirements.

11. Exercises creativity and discretion in the performance of job duties.

12. Works on special projects as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy/ACCA.

2. Consolidation experience will be a plus.

3. Trade finance experience will be a plus.

4. At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

5. Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

6. Must have knowledge of accepted General Accounting Principles.

7. Must have good analytical skills.

8. Must be able to perform mathematical and statistical computations consistent with the Accounting field.

9. Must be able to make independent decisions.

10. Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language, verbally and in writing.

11. Must be able to read and interpret reports, journals, financial statements, etc.

12. Must be proficient in MS Office applications, such as MS Words and Excel.

13. Experience in Navision is an advantage.

14. Willing to work extra in different country time zone as and when required.

15. Able to start work immediately.
