Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and highly organized individual to take on a dual role as Accountant and Personal Assistant (PA). This position supports both the financial health of the company and the personal and administrative needs of senior management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing reporting deadlines, and assisting in executive scheduling and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities (60%)
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB).
- Ensure compliance with local tax, GST, CPF, and other regulatory filings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Support budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Maintain accounting records, invoices, and filing systems in good order.
Personal Assistant & Administrative Support (40%)
- Manage the calendar, appointments, travel plans, and communications for the Director.
- Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist with project coordination and follow-ups on behalf of the Director.
- Organize and support internal meetings and external client engagements.
- Manage office supplies, procurement, and general administrative tasks.
- Provide ad hoc support for both personal and professional matters as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting and/or executive assistant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACCA-qualified or possess a recognized accounting degree or certification.
- Experience in supporting senior executives, founders, or business owners in a dynamic environment.
- Strong familiarity with Singapore accounting standards, corporate tax, GST, and compliance regulations.
- Bilingual or multilingual ability (e.g., English and Mandarin) to support cross-border communications and reporting.
