Accountant (Part-time, 6 mths contract)

The Company

Our client, an MNC with a history of more than 40 years, within the medical devices industry, is seeking to hire a Part time Accountant to assist them on a 6-month basis.

The Role

Reporting to the head of the finance department, you are to manage day-to-day accounting scope and will be involved in activities such as AP, AR, GL, month end, quarter end and year end closing to financial and management reporting. You will be required to assist on forecasting of cashflow, preparation of financial statements, GST reporting, liaise with accounting service providers such as tax agents, etc. You will be involved in consolidating and analysing P&L, highlighting variances and trends. You are to ensure compliance and risks and streamline processes as well as participate in any ad hoc related projects.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in accounting and/or finance and bring with you a minimum of 5 years' experience in an accountant capacity. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA will be good to have. You are well versed in your accounting principles, have an eye for details, can work with minimal supervision, are hands-on, and are a good problem solver. Experience in using SAP or Oracle will be good to have. Immediate availability will be advantageous.
