Job description

Position 1: Accountant (Construction - North-east, 5d per week, Basic up to $5k)

Overview:
Manage financial operations for construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post general ledger journals for timely and accurate monthly financial closings.

• Plan cash management, including cash flow forecasting and ensuring sufficient operational funds.

• Perform inter-company and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare audit schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial forecasts.

• Oversee GST submissions and reconciliations.

• Support internal and external audits and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Position 2: Accounts cum HR Executive (Engineering services, 5d per week, Basic up to $4500)

Overview:
A versatile role combining accounting and HR responsibilities to support financial operations and employee management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting:

  • Manage full set of accounts (balance sheets, P&L statements, journal entries).

  • Handle accounts receivable/payable, fixed asset schedules, and bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare and submit GST reports, payroll (including CPF, overtime, and claims), and coordinate annual audits.

  • Maintain accounting records using Opensoft software.

• HR:

  • Manage recruitment, employment contracts, work passes, leave records, and exit interviews.

  • Oversee company insurance (e.g., work injury, personal accident, H&S) and property matters.

  • Update employee handbook, policies, and benefits; manage MOM surveys and training grants.

  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and company events.

  • Handle confidential matters and liaise with authorities (MOM, EDB, ACRA, IRAS).
