Company Overview:
We are a dynamic and growing seafood processing company with multiple business entities under management. As we expand, we are seeking a seasoned Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple entities within the group
Generate monthly Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
Oversee corporate tax compliance, including computation, filing, and liaison with tax agents/auditors
Handle GST filing and submission in compliance with IRAS regulations
Manage and consolidate budgets and forecasts, collaborating with internal stakeholders
Produce detailed sales reports and analysis for management review
Monitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting and liquidity planning
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of month-end and year-end close processes
Utilize AutoCount accounting software for bookkeeping and reporting tasks
Maintain internal financial controls and processes for efficiency and compliance
Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
8-10 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in manufacturing or processing industries
Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations/compliance and financial reporting standards
Experience in budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis
Proficiency in AutoCount accounting software will be advantagous
Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities across multiple entities
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
