Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking an accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts, AP/GL, and month-end closing from its Jurong East office. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience and solid knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.

You will interact with internal teams, suppliers, and bankers to ensure timely payments, accurate reporting, and compliance with financial policies. Strong Excel and Navision familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• At least 2 years of work experience in related fields.
• Experience with full sets of accounts and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Navision is preferred.
• Independent, meticulous, well-organized and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain AP and GL.
• Oversee month-end closing process.
• Process payments accurately and timely with proper documentation.
• Reconcile inter-company transactions and balances.
• Collaborate with business units for daily operations.
• Liaise with suppliers and bankers for banking matters.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and tax computations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports as required.
• Conduct reconciliations and monthly closings for related entities.
• Prepare GST submissions and payment documents.
• Generate invoices and manage collections where needed.
• Prepare materials for Finance Committee meetings.
