  • Process Enhancement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance internal controls, and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

Regulatory Compliance & Advisory:

  • Regulatory Intelligence: Proactively monitor the evolving regulatory landscape, including new MAS notices, guidelines, and industry developments pertinent to LFMCs (e.g., SFA, FAA, AML/CFT, Technology Risk, Business Conduct).
  • Policy & Framework Implementation: Support the design, implementation, and ongoing review of internal compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure alignment with MAS requirements.
  • Compliance Monitoring & Testing: Conduct regular compliance reviews, identify potential gaps or breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
  • MAS Reporting: Prepare and ensure timely and accurate submission of all required regulatory reports and filings to MAS (e.g., financial returns, capital adequacy, annual declarations).
  • AML/CFT Oversight: Execute and enhance the firm's Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) program, including client onboarding due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and suspicious transaction reporting.
  • Advisory & Guidance: Provide clear, pragmatic, and timely compliance advice to senior management and business units on regulatory implications of new products, services, or operational changes.
  • Training & Awareness: Contribute to the development and delivery of internal compliance training sessions to foster a strong compliance culture.
  • Record Management: Ensure meticulous maintenance of all regulatory and financial records in accordance with statutory and internal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and/or compliance, with demonstrable exposure to the fund management industry in Singapore.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical application of MAS regulatory frameworks, particularly those governing LFMCs (e.g., SFA, FAA, AML/CFT, Technology Risk Management Guidelines).
  • Solid foundation in accounting principles (FRS/SFRS) and financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical internal controls and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and regulatory matters clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
