A leading company in the semiconductor industry is seeking a tax accountant in Singapore. The successful candidate will handle the tax spectrum, including compliance and reporting, requiring strong technical accounting skills. This is a 12-month contract role at Changi with a salary up to SGD 4,500, ideal for self-motivated individuals who can work independently and possess strong analytical abilities.
Our client is one of the leader in the semicon industry, they are hiring a tax accountant to assist with the entire tax spectrum.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing all spectrum of tax compliance (including corporate income tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, GST/VAT) for entities in Singapore. This will involve extracting reports from accounting system (SAP), compiling, analyzing and reconciling the numbers from various sources. It also requires working closely with finance team as well as coordination with external outsourced vendors and tax advisors.
• Assist in US and local tax reporting, including quarterly tax provision, annual tax package reporting and deferred tax computation.
• Work with finance team on local GAAP accounts from a tax perspective.
• Assist in managing tax audits and examinations by the taxing authorities.
• Assist in managing tax incentive programs, with close monitoring to ensure fulfillment of incentive conditions.
• Support in managing supplier engagements, including PO administration.
Experience:
• SAP knowledge a plus.
Education: Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Taxation, ACCA, or equivalent.
Required Skills:
• Possess technical accounting ability, including performing of reconciliation essential.
• Possess intermediate Excel skills.
• Self-motivated and positive, organized, hands-on, meticulous and able to work independently.
• Able to effectively manage time and a large workload, and to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as a team.
