As the Accountant, you will be an integral member of the Finance team to support the financial operations of 2 entities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Description

  • Manage and maintain Accounts Payable processes, including vendor payments and reconciliations
  • Responsible for General Ledger activities, including journal entries, month-end closings, and financial schedules
  • Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure accurate reporting across entities
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliations, and audit schedules
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Assist with statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax agents
  • Contribute to process improvements in AP and GL functions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

Profile

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 years of relevant accounting knowledge
  • Experience in managing AP, GL and GST preparation independently
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
