Job summary

BIT Official in Singapore is seeking a diligent accountant to join our finance team. You will manage the full set of accounts, perform monthly close, and support regulatory submissions.

Ideal candidates hold an accounting qualification with 2–5 years of experience, are proficient in Excel, and demonstrate a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

You will work with auditors and tax teams to ensure compliance, contribute to process improvements, and provide stakeholder financial support.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in accounting with 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Auditors from Big 4 are welcomed.
• Pro-active and motivated to acquire knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and stress.

Responsibilities

• Work on full set of accounts and prepare journals, schedules, and reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual statutory audits to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with tax team to provide timely information and assist with tax filings.
• Prepare/review financial reporting submissions for regulators.
• Monitor financial metrics as required.
• Provide financial/accounting support to internal stakeholders.
• Review and implement financial control process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in ad-hoc finance projects and other duties within the department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on full set of accounts and prepare the necessary (e.g. journals, schedules, reconciliations) with full supporting calculations/documentation/explanations, to ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end close processes;
• Work with auditors on annual statutory audit to ensure compliance;
• Work with tax team to provide timely and accurate information, and/or assist with tax filings to ensure that these are completed on time;
• Prepare/review financial reporting submissions for regulators
• Monitor financial metrics as required
• Provide financial/accounting support to relevant internal stakeholders;
• Review, enhance, participate and implement financial control process improvement;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies & procedures and accounting standards;
• Assist in any ad-hoc projects that develop within the Finance Department;
• And any other duties assigned in the finance field.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in accounting with at least 2- 5 years of relevant accounting experience;
• Existing auditors from a Big 4 firm are welcomed;
• Good working attitude;
• Sense of responsibility, self–motivated and resourceful to complete set of responsibilities;
• Well verse in Microsoft Excel;
• Pro-active and motivated to acquire knowledge;
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• Reliable and results oriented team player
• Able to work under tight deadlines and stress.
