Job summary

BIT is seeking a diligent Accountant to join our Finance team in Singapore. You will handle full cycle accounting, monthly close, journals, schedules, reconciliations, and collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance and timely statutory filings.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in accounting with 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, a pro-active mindset, and reliable teamwork to support internal stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in accounting with 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Big 4 auditing experience welcomed.
• Pro-active and motivated to acquire knowledge.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on full set of accounts and prepare journals, schedules, reconciliations with supporting documentation for monthly/year-end close.
• Work with auditors on annual statutory audit to ensure compliance.
• Work with tax team to provide timely and accurate information and assist with tax filings.
• Prepare/review financial reporting submissions for regulators.
• Monitor financial metrics as required.
• Provide financial/accounting support to internal stakeholders.
• Review, enhance, participate and implement financial control process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies & procedures and accounting standards.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects within the Finance Department.
• Other duties assigned in the finance field.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in accounting with at least 2- 5 years of relevant accounting experience;
• Existing auditors from a Big 4 firm are welcomed;
• Good working attitude;
• Sense of responsibility, self–motivated and resourceful to complete set of responsibilities;
• Well verse in Microsoft Excel;
• Pro-active and motivated to acquire knowledge;
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• Reliable and results oriented team player
• Able to work under tight deadlines and stress.
