Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee invoicing for term fees, school activities, and other revenues
  • Propose installment plans and deadline extensions for approval, maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Prepare and consolidate revenue reconciliation and Billing Collection Reports
  • Supervise the issuance of official documents (invoices, receipts, credit notes, statements) in compliance with PDPA, guidelines, and legal regulations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for parents regarding electronic payments and collection matters.
  • Lead the Accounts Receivable Team on Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) and PDPA-related matters.
  • Administer FPS purchases and cancellations; maintain the FPS Master File in compliance with CPE/SSG and EduTrust requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Admissions, and support staff to review FPS alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare journal entries for school activities and reconcile intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance and liaise with internal and external auditors and statutory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Possess a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, with prior audit experience preferred.
  • Experience in administering the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards and tax policies.
  • Meticulous with a high degree of accuracy in data processing.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
