Job description

1) Ensure timely and accurate month-end close for Artivion Asia Pacific and its affiliates.

  • Prepare month-end journal entries.
  • Prepare schedules and reconciliations.
  • Review management reports to identify if reclasses, accruals, or other adjustments are necessary.
  • Perform monthly actual-to-budget variance analysis.
  • Liaise with outside accountants for monthly accounts.
  • Reconcile with vendors/customers on outstanding items and inventory.

2) Ensure timely external reporting (local and group) for Artivion Asia Pacific and its affiliates.

  • Prepare schedules for statutory audits, tax filings, and other audits or examinations.
  • Ensure statutory filings are completed within stipulated timelines.

3) Management Accounting

  • Support and review operating plans, estimates, and forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly management reports for APAC commercial team to monitor business performance.

4) Ad-hoc projects

  • Liaise with Kennesaw Finance team to complete regular closing processes.
  • Assist with filing and other projects, such as inventory or fixed asset counts, SAP testing for process improvements, and other ad hoc initiatives.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Mid-career professional with 5-8 years of finance and accounting experience; regional healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Word and PowerPoint required.
  • IT savvy with quick learning ability; experience with SAP and/or Workday Adaptive is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with good time management.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards learning; dedicated and committed to high standards.
  • Resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Adaptability to changing organizational needs due to rapid growth and industry evolution.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
