The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for Accountant, AMENA to join our Finance team on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, AMENA, the role of Accountant is to effectively perform the accounting role and responsibilities for the iNova business in AMENA. The incumbent will ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financials and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing accounts receivable and credit control across the multiple markets
  • Overseeing fixed assets, depreciation, and capex in line with financial reporting standards
  • Preparing and submitting WHT and GST reports across regions as assigned
  • Coordinating annual tax filings and drafting tax computations
  • Leading month-end closings and ensuring timely, accurate reporting
  • Analyzing financial statements and identifying key variances
  • Performing balance sheet and cash flow analysis; updating TM1 portal
  • Preparing reconciliations using Blackline portal
  • Supporting external audits and statutory reporting
  • Compiling consolidated financial statements for compliance
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Other projects as and when required.
  • Support implementation of new financial policies
  • Adherence to compliance, policies, procedures and relevant legislation

About You

  • Possess a Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. CPA/CA desirable
  • At least 5 - 8 years of experience in financial accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office, proficiency in Excel
  • Good working knowledge of SAP is required. Experience in Blackline will be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of taxation and treasury will be an advantage
  • Regional accounting exposure across APAC markets is desirable
