A progressive logistics company is seeking an Accountant/Finance Manager to oversee financial accounting, reporting systems, and budgets. Our customer, a progressive logistics company, is looking to fill the following position :-

Accountant/ Finance Manager

Job Description:

  • Assist in smooth management of company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.

  • Liason with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.

  • Ensure proper and accurate financial reporting are in compliance with all statutory legislation and regulations

  • Managing budgets and forecast process

  • Assist in preparing group consolidation accounts.

  • Analyzing group’s monthly management reports, review financial statements of subsidiaries

  • Lead the finance team in day to day finance operations. (AR/AP, GST Submission, financial reporting , audits )

  • Streamline finance processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Work closely with regional subsidiaries office, HQ in accounts office in the preparation of budgets, forecast and financial reporting reports.

  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue.

  • Keep abreast of changes in the financial and taxation laws and regulations.

  • Any other role and responsibilities as assigned by the Company

  • Providing and interpreting financial information;

  • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;

REQUIREMENTS

  • Recognized degree or professional qualification in Accountancy / CPA or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant working

  • Handle Full sets of accounts

  • Preferably from the logistics industry

  • Multi-tasker, meticulous and discreet in handling confidential information

  • Strong leadership experience

  • Analytical and problem solver.
