Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts and ensure compliance with financial standards
- Develop financial forecasts, project cash flow analysis and budgeting strategies
- Oversee financial reporting, cost control and risk management
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and oversee tax submissions
- Manage ERP system processes and ensure smooth finance operations
- Provide financial insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient workflow
- Prepare and present quarterly finance reports on project status to stakeholders
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and interim audits
- Provide insights on project WIP, collections, risks, opportunities and cashflow
- Present updated financial data in project management meetings, reviewing cost status
- Review and process project payments and invoices accurately
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Accounting / Finance or equivalent accounting professional qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in finance with strong expertise in project cashflow, forecasting, budgeting and reporting
- Strong knowledge of taxation, GST regulations and accounting standards (SFRS)
- Hands-on experience in ERP system and financial planning tools
- Knowledge in Work-In-Progress (WIP) financial aspect for construction projects
- Familiar with accounting in construction industry an advantage
