Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Agriculture

• Position Title: Accountant

• Working Location: Lim Chu Kang (Transport pick-up at Kranji Mrt)

• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8.30am-6pm)

• Salary Package: Basic $4,500 – $6,000 + Bonus

• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly management and financial reports for business and group use, including HKSE submissions.

• Ensure all reports comply with accounting policies and regulatory standards.

• Help with planning, budgeting, and forecasting alongside business partners.

• Manage month-end closing tasks, such as preparing and reviewing journal vouchers, reconciliations, revenue and expense analysis, variance checks, cash flow, and balance sheet movements.

• Assist with inventory costing and tracking/reporting variances.

• Review or prepare monthly GST filings.

• Support the implementation of new procedures, policies, and systems for business growth and compliance.

• Help prepare annual statutory financial statements and communicate with bankers, auditors, corporate secretaries, and tax agents.

• Contribute to projects and handle ad-hoc assignments as needed.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA with 3–5 years’ relevant experience.

• Good knowledge of Singapore GST and accounting standards.

• Experience with ERP systems, especially Navision, is preferred.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills are an advantage.

• Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Experience in Manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage.
