Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to oversee financial reporting and team management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely submission of financial reports and collaboration with external stakeholders. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a degree in accounting or its equivalent. An eye for detail and team leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and read Mandarin.
• Strong in reporting and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily accounting issues and submit timely financial reports.
• Supervise team members and liaise with external auditors.
• Review service agreements and coordinate with various departments.

Job Functions

• Responsible for monitoring for daily accounting related issue
• Accurate & timely submission of financial & management reports in accordance with Company and Corporate deadlines
• Strong in reporting, accuracy, and timely submission of local and overseas subsidiaries’ monthly reports to Head Office
• Experience in preparation of a full set of account
• Review of service agreements and banks letter of offer for facilities upon new, renewal and termination of agreements
• Guidance and supervision of team members
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents & bankers
• Any other related projects/duties which not indicated above will be assigned by the superior from time to time

Education and Experiences

• Degree or ACCA Level 2
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
• Knowledge of Accounting System such as Oracle, hyperion, an added advantage
• Effective communication skills
• Good in English both oral and written & able to read and understand Mandarin
• Attentive to details
• Teamwork, initiative and self-development
• Able to follow up and coordinate with inter-department
