Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts for a new energy vehicle technology company. You will ensure compliance with local statutory and tax regulations while coordinating with external parties and liaising with the headquarters in China. This full-time role requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore tax/compliance.
• Comfortable working in a lean setup with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts for the Singapore entity.

Description

• Handle full sets of accounts for the Singapore entity, including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing
• Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with local statutory and tax regulations
• Coordinate with external parties (e.g. auditors, tax agents, banks, corporate secretaries)
• Liaise with China HQ and provide periodic financial reports to COO/Finance Manager
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely reporting
• Manage simple administrative tasks related to finance, if required

Profile

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of full sets of accounts and Singapore tax/compliance
• Comfortable working independently in a lean setup with minimal supervision
