Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full set of accounts, including journal entries, fixed asset schedules, profit and loss, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly MIS reports, cash flow forecasts, estimates, and working capital planning.
  • Ensure timely monthly closing and preparation of interim and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee MIS preparation for monthly shipping operation reviews and quarterly board presentations.
  • Handle quarterly GST submissions and liaise with banks on governance and loan matters.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other stakeholders on compliance matters.
  • Support monthly closing and financial reporting for joint venture (JV) companies in collaboration with external service providers.
  • Ensure accurate reporting to the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore for annual expenditure requirements.
  • Liaise with investment companies and subsidiary counterparts for financial consolidation and updates.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 4-6years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
