Job summary

Zagro Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Accountant to support accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, taxation, treasury and compliance functions in Singapore. The role requires coordinating with regional subsidiaries and multi-currency reporting.

You will manage full sets of accounts, assist budgeting and cash flow management, and ensure adherence to Singapore accounting standards. Immediate availability is advantageous for a smooth handover and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in preparing group consolidated financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and group consolidation.
• Experience managing regional subsidiaries and multi-currency reporting.
• Immediate availability or short notice advantageous.

Job description

Zagro is a Singapore based company with a strong heritage and extensive experience in providing agrisolutions to farmers in agriculture and animal husbandry. The company manufactures and distributes a wide range of nutrition and protection products for animal health and crop care.

As a growing regional group with operations across Asia-Pacific, we are seeking a hands-on Accountant to support accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, taxation, treasury and compliance functions.

ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities: -

• Manage full sets of accounts and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Handle GST, transfer pricing and statutory compliance.
• Prepare FRS 116 lease schedules and undertake other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements: -

• Degree in Accounting, or ACCA graduate/finalist, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Proven experience in preparing group consolidated financial statements is a must.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and group consolidation.
• Experience managing regional subsidiaries and multi-currency reporting.
• Proficient in ACCPAC (Sage 300) or similar accounting software.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
• Candidates available immediately or on short notice will have an advantage.
