Job description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at United Hampshire US REIT Management Pte Ltd, based in the Raffles Place Central Region. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial accounting and reporting processes.

This position will be part of the group consolidation team in charge of financial reporting and management reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial closing and budgeting

  • Assist in reviewing and analysing financial reports from overseas entities, liaising with the overseas finance team for the submission and analysis of financial reports

  • Assist team with group consolidation and management reporting functions in accordance with the statutory requirements as well as company policies and procedures

  • Assist team with timely and accurate preparation and analysis of the group financial and management reports

  • Assist with the timely and accurate preparation of result announcements, financial statements and annual report

  • Assist in the annual audit process, and tax filing matters as well as any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements

  • Support system implementation/improvements as necessary

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and other initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent, Chartered Accountant (CA) will be ideal

  • Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experiences.

  • Well-versed in SFRS, tax regulations and MS Excel.

  • Meticulous, ability to work independently as well as being a good team player.

  • Other attributes include being responsible, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
