Background

Bukit Timah Saddle Club (“BTSC”) is a leader in equestrian sports in Singapore. BTSC has a riding school and livery operations with a capacity of up to 100 horses. We are a British Horse Society approved equestrian centre with high quality facilities and a regular organiser of national and FEI-level competitions. We pride ourselves as a well-run members’ club with a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and results driven individual to join us as Accountant. Reporting to the General Manager and the Treasurer, the ideal candidate needs to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the Club, being directly responsible for all financial functions and administrative & IT systems and enjoys interacting and work with staff of all levels and all stakeholders and government agencies.

There will be attractive remuneration package available which will commensurate with the candidate’s level of qualifications and experiences.

Job Requirements

· Prior experience in running a Club or business management is essential.

· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance to accounting standards.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.

· Manage annual budget, monthly forecast and variance analysis.

· Process payroll, renewal of insurances and work passes, assist in staff recruitment and HR functions.

· Liaise with auditor and tax agent and provide support during the audit and tax filing.

· Manage the IT infrastructure.

· Manage cash flow, creditor and debtor functions.

· Ensure timely submission of CPF contributions, GST and any other filings requirements.

· Maintain proper office filing and records.

· Proficiency in using MYOB and advance Microsoft Excel skills are essential.

· Knowledge of horse care and stable management will be an added advantage.
