Position
Casa Concetto is seeking an Accountant based in Singapore to oversee the financial operations of business entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Singapore’s regulations, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will manage separate financial books, execute month-end closing, and optimize cash flow and cost control strategies to support business growth.
This role requires close collaboration with the Finance Analyst and Tax Team to enhance financial efficiency and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL) for two business entities and ensure separate books are properly managed.
- Execute month-end closing procedures, including bank reconciliation, accruals, depreciation, intercompany reconciliation, and financial adjustments.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and budget variance reports.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and fund allocation to ensure financial stability.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and submit GST returns, corporate tax filings, and compliance reports by IRAS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Coordinate audit activities, liaising with external auditors and preparing audit schedules.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and record depreciation schedules accurately.
- Oversee payroll processing, CPF contributions, and employee reimbursement claims.
- Ensure proper tracking of business expenses, vendor payments, and operational costs.
- Work closely with management and operations teams to provide financial insights and cost-saving recommendations.
- Implement internal controls(sop) and risk management processes to safeguard financial assets.
- Support financial software integration and automation, ensuring data accuracy in Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent accounting systems.
- Generate ad-hoc management reports as required by leadership.
Profile
Requirements & Competencies
- Degree / Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting and financial reporting
- Experience in handling multi-entity financials with separate books
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, corporate tax, and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for financial analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills

- Experience in financial audits and liaising with auditors is a plus
