Job summary

SMC Manufacturing (Singapore) Pte Ltd seeks a experienced Accounting and ERP Lead to drive the implementation of a new ERP system aligned with SFRS, GST, IRAS e-filing and ACRA compliance in Singapore. You will configure General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Inventory, and ensure secure data migration with audit trails.

The role includes developing SOPs, training finance teams, ensuring tax reporting accuracy, and integrating the ERP with payroll and procurement while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience using accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle or similar ERP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting system setup and ERP implementation.
• Ensure compliance with SFRS, GST, IRAS e-filing, and ACRA reporting.

Job description

1. Accounting System Setup & ERP Implementation

• Evaluate and select an appropriateERP/accounting systemaligned withSFRS, IRAS tax regulations, and ACRA compliance.

• Configure and customize financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST, Payroll, Inventory, etc.).

• Ensure seamless migration of financial data and establishaudit trails.

• DevelopStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)for financial transactions and reporting.

• Train finance teams on system functionalities and best practices.

2. Compliance & Financial Reporting (Singapore-Specific)

• Ensure compliance withSingapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

• ImplementGST (Goods & Services Tax) filing proceduresand integrate withIRAS tax e-filing systems.

• Prepare and fileXBRL financial statementsfor submission toACRA.

• Ensure proper corporate tax reporting and compliance withSingapore tax laws.

• Support audit requirements and ensure ERP-generated reports align with statutory requirements.

3. ERP System Integration & Process Automation

• Integrate the accounting system withpayroll, procurement, and other business operations.

• Ensure compatibility withSingapore banks for digital payments and reconciliations.

• Automatefinancial workflows, including invoicing, tax calculations, and month-end closing.

• Troubleshoot system issues and recommendprocess improvements.

4. Financial Controls & Internal Policies

• Establish stronginternal controlsto prevent fraud and errors.

• Implementapproval workflows for transactionsin line with corporate policies.

• Monitor financial data accuracy and compliance withMAS and other regulatory authorities.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5-6 Years Relavant Experience, Preferably in Manufacturing Industry

2. Experience in using Accounting Software (e.g. SAP, Oracle or Similiar ERP System.)

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
