Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage full sets of accounts including preparing accounting schedules.
  2. Prepare and maintain financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  3. Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  4. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  5. Prepare yearly Budget, quarterly forecast, cashflow projection reports, etc.
  6. Ensure company accounts and tax returns are prepared and filed correctly and on time.
  7. Work with auditors and assist in financial audits.
  8. Liaise with tax agents to manage corporate tax matters and tax compliance.
  9. Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
  10. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.
  11. Support the implementation of accounting systems and process improvements.

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy and Finance.
  2. Minimum 8 years of experience in accountancy.
  3. Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
  7. Excellent communication and writing skills.
  8. Able to work under tight schedules to meet deadlines.
  9. Independent, initiative-driven, and organised with a positive working attitude.
  10. Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
