About the role

Our client is experiencing rapid growth and seeks an Accountant to support the development of a strong regional controllership function. This is a dynamic, growth-oriented role with significant exposure across finance, tax, and audit operations in a regional capacity. This role supports the Finance Manager (APAC) in relation to financial controlling and reporting process, month-end, year-end closing and other ad-hoc assignments as required. This is role required close coordination with the operational businesses, regional and local FP&A, regional tax & treasury, and local auditors across the regions.

What you'll be doing

• Handle financial accounting, month-end and year-end closings, and ensure compliance with international and regional reporting standards.

• Support management reporting, regional consolidation, and group reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with local tax agents on income tax compliance.

• Partner in audits, tax filings, and policy enforcement.

• Identify and implement process improvements through internal controls and financial system enhancements.

• Engage in cross-functional business improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy or ACCA

• CPA is preferred

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, GL and AR.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
