Job description

This role is suited for someone with strong technical accounting knowledge, exposure to regional operations, and the ability to manage monthly closing, statutory compliance, and reporting independently. You'll collaborate closely with HQ and regional teams and oversee a junior team member while ensuring timely and accurate financial management.

The Job:

• Manage full sets of accounts including GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing
• Prepare monthly financial statements, consolidation of group accounts, and management reporting
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government bodies for statutory audits, tax, CPF, and GST filings
• Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany billings across multiple entities
• Track investment activities and ensure accurate recording of related accounting entries
• Supervise junior staff and review their entries to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinate with regional finance teams in Asia to align accounting practices and reporting timelines
• Support the business in office administration and finance operations when required

The Talent:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in full-set accounting; exposure to consolidation is a must
• Experience with regional entities or MNCs across APAC preferred
• Familiarity with trading or investment-related accounting is advantageous
• Proficient in Excel and SQL accounting software or others
• Strong attention to detail, independent, and capable of supervising junior staff effectively
