Accountant

You will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager and working closely with the Accounts Assistant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Our client is a biopharmaceutical company based in Shanghai, specializing in the development and commercialization of oncology and severe infection products. As they continue to grow globally, they are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their Singapore-based finance team.

Description

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities for our Rest of World (RoW) entities
• Prepare GST filings, withholding tax submissions, and assist in local tax compliance
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable cycles and assist in managing cash flow forecasts
• Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure timely payments
• Maintain the expense contract register and ensure timely accruals where required
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to streamline financial processes and strengthen internal controls
• Support external audits and tax reviews, ensuring accurate and timely documentation

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
