Purpose of the Job
- To produce financial accounts for submission to AET management and MISC
- Responsible for local statutory financial reporting requirements for the Group
- To ensure compliance with global standard accounting processes
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the general ledger activity for assigned accounts across various legal entities.
- Prepare and post required journals, including payroll journals and ensure all relevant accruals, amortizations and prepayments are posted on a monthly basis.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare monthly schedules in accordance with monthly close timetable.
- Accounts payable sub ledger and general ledger reconciliation.
- Ensure that all intercompany transactions are recorded and liaise with other entity owners to verify both receivable and payable are properly recorded
- Identify G&A costs allocation drivers for monthly intercompany management fee recharge
- Assist in internal audit queries and statutory audit requirements, providing schedules, support and other requested information.
- Prepare information and complete surveys and returns to government agencies.
- Ensure that all internal control processes are complied with.
- To comply with Company’s policies and Code of Conduct and Business Ethics (CoBE)
- Any other duties and projects as assigned from time to time
Qualifications include:
- Education:Degree in Accountancy
- Professional Certification:ACCA
- Experience:
- 3 years of general accounting experience
- Familiar with accounting/auditing standards
- Specialized knowledge:
- Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- ERP systems (i.e. SAP)
- Microsoft Office
- Must be a self-starter with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
