This role includes but is not limited to:

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle full sets of accounts of the Company's entities.
  2. Responsible for bookkeeping, AR, AP, GL, recharges and intercompany transactions.
  3. Responsible for preparing monthly payments.
  4. Responsible for preparation of month end closing processes, consolidation and timely and accurate monthly financial reports and audit schedules.
  5. Responsible for preparation of quarterly GST reporting.
  6. Assist in audits, tax, XBRL and statutory filings.
  7. Liaise with corporate secretary for preparing annual returns, resolutions and other corporate matters.
  8. Involve in initiatives to improve accounting/inter-department workflows, internal controls and to enforce implemented processes.
  9. Business unit partnering - review of sales performance and presentation of monthly actual vs budget variance analysis.
  10. Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in accountancy with at least 3 years of accounting experience.
  2. Excellent knowledge of SFRS.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  4. Experience using Xero accounting system.
  5. Audit and XBRL experience would be a plus.
  6. Independent and resourceful to fit into a dynamic startup environment.
  7. Strong team player.
  8. Keen eye for details and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
