Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle full set of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, inventories and fixed assets.

2. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports (e.g. P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

3. Ensure timely submission of GST filings, IRAS requirements, and other statutory compliance.

4. Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, banks, and government agencies.

5. Perform bank reconciliations, and oversee petty cash.

6. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decisions.

7. Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes.

8. Maintain proper filing of all accounting records and documentation.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. At least 3 years of relevant accounting/audit experience, preferably in an SME trading environment.

3. Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local tax regulations.

4. Experience with MYOB, QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

5. Prior exposure to multi-currency accounting and inventory transactions.

6. Basic HR/payroll knowledge.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

8. Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.

9. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
