Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
    Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial transactions.
    Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Assist in creating annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
    Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management, helping them make data-driven decisions.
  • Month-End & Year-End Close:
    Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
    Coordinate with auditors and prepare necessary documentation for the annual audit process.
  • Compliance and Regulation:
    Ensure compliance with Singaporean financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
    Prepare and file financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Cash Flow & Payroll Management:
    Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations.
    Manage payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to staff, and oversee tax deductions.
  • Internal Controls and Process Improvements:
    Identify areas for improvement in financial systems and processes.
    Implement efficient internal controls and best practices to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
    Work closely with management and other departments to support business operations and provide financial advice.
    Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes by providing financial insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualifications:
    A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
    Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) will be an advantage.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in the hospitality or property management industry.
    Strong experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
