A leading restaurant in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to maintain financial records and ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting, 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the F&B industry, and strong analytical skills. Job Description
Maintain full set of accounts - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and related accounting matters.
Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all financial records, journal entries and transactions.
Ensure timely month-end closing of accounts in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
Prepare monthly management reports, cash flow forecast and other reports required by Group.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and audit schedules.
Responsible for quarterly GST returns. Assist in annual tax computation and returns.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and optimize profitability.
Prepare annual budget, forecasts and cash flow projections.
Handle year-end audit and XBRL filing.
Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretary, tax agent and government authorities as needed.
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
Degree in accounting, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in F&B industry.
Well versed in Microsoft Office applications, ERP system and accounting software. Experience in Oracle Netsuite is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore tax regulations.
Meticulous, strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Proactive, hands-on, a good team player and able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
