Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant / Accountant Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the company’s financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.

Job Description

  • Maintain full sets of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and petty cash transactions.
  • Prepare and submit GST, CPF, and other statutory filings accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders when required.
  • Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc financial projects and administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Studied related field.
  • 1 years of relevant working experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Meticulous, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of additional Southeast Asian languages will be an advantage (to liaise with regional clients), but not a requirement.
